August has been a busy but super fun month. Caleb turned 2 on the 12th but not only did he get one birthday celebration he got two. We went Omaha on the 1st and my family gave him a little birthday surprise. Caleb loves anything that has wheels and goes vroom. Caleb is such a special part of our family, he brings so much joy to mine and Ricky's life. I have loved watching him grow into the little man he has become. It is obvious even if I do not like it that my baby is really no longer a baby. Caleb will no doubt be an amazing big brother... this little man has so much love and has the most sweet spirit. He is just 2 but I often times think of how one day I will blink and he will no longer be a boy but a grown man. Leave it to a child to teach you how to love the simple joys in life that Heavenly Father has given us. Caleb has taught us so much in the last two years. It amazes me how you could be in a not so good mood but one look at a child's smiling, anxious face can bring you so much happiness. Children really are a piece of heaven on earth.
Things Caleb enjoys:
Cars, trucks, trains, coloring, playing outside, playing ball with dad, jumping off of things, chicken nuggets, Curious George, swimming, nursery, flying kites, and anything that a two year old boy can find to do :)
