Pregnancy Update

This is me at 38 weeks... I am almost finished :) So what the doctor says: My doc wanted to induce me this Wednesday and as exciting as it sounded I said no. I am not a believer in being induced unless of course the baby needs to come out for medical reasons and or it is way past the due date. The problem I have with my pregnancies is that I just don't seem to dialate... for the past 3 weeks I have been at barley a one. This is progress compared to my pregnancy with Caleb. Caleb was 9 days late and did have an induce date for the 14th of August but the little man came on his own. I go to the doctor again tomorrow and I am sure he will ask again... I want to tell him not at least until after I have reached the actual due date of September 1st. My hope is this little girl will come on her own and induction will no longer be an option. I feel like inductions are really stressful for both mom and baby... any advice or opinions are more than welcome.

I have been having some contractions on and off over the weekend and I will update as needed.

August 2009

August has been a busy but super fun month. Caleb turned 2 on the 12th but not only did he get one birthday celebration he got two. We went Omaha on the 1st and my family gave him a little birthday surprise.
Caleb loves anything that has wheels and goes vroom. Caleb is such a special part of our family, he brings so much joy to mine and Ricky's life. I have loved watching him grow into the little man he has become. It is obvious even if I do not like it that my baby is really no longer a baby. Caleb will no doubt be an amazing big brother... this little man has so much love and has the most sweet spirit. He is just 2 but I often times think of how one day I will blink and he will no longer be a boy but a grown man. Leave it to a child to teach you how to love the simple joys in life that Heavenly Father has given us. Caleb has taught us so much in the last two years. It amazes me how you could be in a not so good mood but one look at a child's smiling, anxious face can bring you so much happiness. Children really are a piece of heaven on earth.
Things Caleb enjoys:
Cars, trucks, trains, coloring, playing outside, playing ball with dad, jumping off of things, chicken nuggets, Curious George, swimming, nursery, flying kites, and anything that a two year old boy can find to do :)
